Goalball is a team sport designed for blind athletes. It was devised by an Austrian, Hanz Lorenzen, and a German, Sepp Reindle, in 1946 in an effort to help in the rehabilitation of visually impaired World War II veterans. I photographed the Czech Paralympic GOALBALL team as part of my MA degree work in between 1997 till 1999. With some of the team members I became friends and started after almost 10 years working on a new project which started with two tournaments in Budapest and Zahreb 2007.
